Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases is a system of measures, carried out to prevent, restrictions, spread and elimination of infectious diseases through preventive vaccinations.
Age of vaccination, started over 200 years ago, achieved impressive success in the fight against infectious diseases. Smallpox vaccination was first introduced in 1801 r. The result of huge efforts to combat smallpox was the elimination of this infection in our country in 1936 r.
State registration and reporting is maintained as vaccinated persons, and post-vaccination complications. All used vaccines undergo mandatory quality control. Modern vaccines practically do not give any complications.. Continuous routine immunization of children and adults is necessary to maintain epidemiological well-being, which is carried out in accordance with the National calendar of preventive vaccinations and additional immunization within the framework of the national project "Health".
